Let's get started!

Step 1 - Ask Questions:
Ask us any questions about our services.  Give us a call.  Send us an email links to deb@mymontanarentals.com.  We want to completely address any questions or concerns you may have on renting your Montana home or property.  Not only that, but this will give us a chance to get to know you and you to know us.  We believe that any communication we have with you is an opportunity to show you how responsive we are to our customer homeowners.

Step 2 - Choose My Montana Vacation Rentals: 
Congratulations, you’ve made the right decision.  Now let’s take care of the details required to get you on board and earning revenue from your property as a vacation rental.

Step 3 – Property Walk Through: 
At your convenience or as scheduled, a professional from My Montana Vacation Rentals will conduct a personal walk through of your home.  This walk through can be conducted in your presence or permission can be granted for the walk in your absence.  During the walk through, we conduct a detailed analysis and inventory of your home’s unique features and characteristics.  This information will be used to describe your property on the My Montana Vacation Rental website and will also be used to manage & maintain your property on an ongoing and emergency basis.  A written analysis and inventory will be shared with each homeowner for their final review and approval.

Step 4 – Property Marketing Plan:  
My Montana Vacation Rentals reviews its ongoing marketing activities designed to direct people to the My Montana Vacation Rentals website and the vacation properties it manages.  The marketing plan will include tactics for generating new prospective renter traffic as well as repeat renter traffic.  In addition to marketing activities for My Montana Vacation Rentals, additional information will be presented about how your property will be described on the website (to obtain your input and approval).

Step 5 – Establish Rental Rates and Stay Requirements: 
My Montana Vacation Rentals will work with you to establish the rental rates based on your vacation rentals unique features and characteristics.  At this time you will also be able to establish things such as “minimum stay requirements” and “multiple day, weekly or monthly” discounts at your discretion.

Step 6 – Discuss/Decide on Optional Services: 
My Montana Vacation Rentals will work with you to establish what your vacation rental needs are with regards to snow shoveling, yard maintenance and/or lawn mowing.  You will decide which of these services (if any) you wish to have My Montana Vacation Rentals provide as a part of our service to you.

Step 7 – Discuss/Review/Sign Management Agreement:

  • Review responsibilities of the homeowner and the responsibilities of My Montana Vacation Rental (learn more details).
  • Review the commission rate for the rental stay.

  • Review rates for special services (learn more details) such as grounds upkeep or snow shoveling.

  • Sign the agreement (each get a copy).

Step 8 – Go Online with Your Vacation Rental Property:
Once the agreement is signed and photos have been provided or taken, your property (and related descriptive information) is place on the My Montana Vacation Rentals Web Site.  You vacation rental property is now open for business!
